SomethingCool.com LLC is one of the success stories you read about-- Its humble beginning in 1997 was in the basement of Tim's house.  He started out as an one-man Web Site Development shop, with a company named "Imagine SomethingCool Productions".  The idea was that if you could imagine it, he could create it for you.

Yeah, a bit cheesy. But then, it was the bright-eyed Age of the Internet!

In June 2000, Tim Smith, the owner of Imagine SomethingCool Productions decided to form a partnership with Jeremy Porter, the owner of Jeremy's Creative Graphics. Tim and Jeremy agreed to combine their two companies into a new company named SomethingCool.com LLC.
