How it works:
SomethingCool.com works with you to install backup software on your server or workstation. Once the installation is complete, a full backup is scheduled as soon as possible. The full backup will most likely be scheduled on a weekend, to allow enough time for all files to be transferred. Once the full backup has completed, incremental backups will occur each day. These incremental backups will include all files that have changed since the last full backup. This saves bandwidth on your Internet connection, and ensures all necessary files are backed up each day. SomethingCool.com monitors the backups to ensure they are successful. If a backup fails, a trouble-ticket will automatically be opened, and you will be contacted. If data is lost on your local machine, and a restoration is necessary, SomethingCool.com will assist you in downloading the needed files from our online backup server and restoring them to your server or workstation, or you can download the needed files yourself using the included software.
*An additional fee will be charged for restoration of files— Backup packages include setup, software and storage service only. SomethingCool.com is not responsible for bandwidth at your place of business and can make no guarantees regarding speed or uptime. High-speed Internet Access is required for Online Backup service from SomethingCool.com. |
