Managed IT

Managed Services DiagramHave you outgrown your current technology?  Have you grown frustrated with your current solution?  Are you still working based on outdated ideas of how technology should be used?

Technology has dramatically changed over the last few years, but the way most companies manage your network hasn’t.  The old way means waiting until something breaks, causing you downtime, along with causing your employees and customers to become frustrated.

SomethingCool.com can alleviate your frustration with 100% Managed IT Solutions.  We become your partner, a true trusted advisor.  We design our solutions to meet your current and future needs, all for a flat monthly fee.

What is Managed Services?

Most small to medium sized businesses started with a break-fix model. When something went wrong, you would call someone to come onsite and fix the problem, sometimes days later.

Instead of waiting for something to break, SomethingCool.com manages your network 24/7/365. We monitor logs, provide security patches, and work out most kinks before there are ever any problems for you to report.

When there is an issue, you talk to highly-trained engineers that are familiar with your business. Because we monitor your systems 24/7/365, we are able to find the cause of the problem and remediate the issue faster, usually without ever having to step foot inside your office.

What services are covered?

All aspects of your IT can be covered with a single monthly fee. We monitor your network, servers, workstations, laptops, mobile devices, etc. Devices are covered against viruses and malware infections. Important devices, especially servers, are backed up and protected from disasters. You also get unlimited telephone, online and even onsite support for any issues.

The most important service you receive is having a true trusted advisor. We take the time to understand your business, your goals, your environment - everything that makes you unique. We sit down with you and plan your technology path, together.

The only services that are not covered by your monthly fee are major projects, hardware and software.

What makes SomethingCool.com stand out?

Like most IT companies, SomethingCool.com started out using break-fix. We quickly realized that we couldn’t keep our clients happy by waiting until things went wrong, and then responding - sometimes putting off other clients to get to the biggest “emergency”. By 2006, we started making major investments in the software and tools that would allow us to prevent problems for our clients. These tools also allow us to respond faster if there is an issue.

Today, we continue to make investments in the tools that will make our services streamlined, and keep our customers operating. Our staff undergoes continuous training in the latest technologies. Combined with their years of experience and excellent customer service skills, they treat each client as if it’s their own business.

Our people are what makes SomethingCool.com stand out.
